Information:

• SWAG Store: LINKED HERE – Order your Granville Central Middle School Swag! The Panther Pack PTO will receive a percentage from the sales. The store will be open each month from the 1st of the month to the 15th of the month. The store will close and orders will take about 4 weeks to be completed from the time the store closes. Orders will be delivered to GCMS and given to the student when they arrive!

Eating and drinking on the bus are not allowed, and inappropriate language will not be tolerated. Please remember that any referrals may result in suspension from riding the bus. Let’s all do our part to keep the bus safe and respectful for everyone.

Good afternoon Panthers! This is Principal Shore calling with your weekly update. 

• We appreciate your patience during car pool this afternoon. We had multiple buses not running which caused an extended carpool line. 

• I want to say THANK YOU to all of the families that attended our Holidays Around the World Family Engagement event. We had an amazing turn out. Our students did excellent during the band performance and creating all the artwork and decorations for the event! We can’t wait for our Spring event!

• Due to the snow days this week, our NC Check Ins were rescheduled. Students will take their NC Check Ins for Math on Monday and ELA on Tuesday.

• Our Spirit Month continues next week – Lights on Monday; Jingle Jammies on Tuesday; Reindeer Wednesday; Ugly Sweater Thursday; Favorite Holiday Gear Friday

• For sports this week, 

  • Basketball will play at home vs Bunn MS on Tuesday. Games begin at 4:30. Admission is $7. Basketball will travel to Cedar Creek on Thursday. 

  • Wrestling has Wrestling Rampage Rumble at Franklinton HS on tomorrow, Saturday 12/13.

  • Wrestling will have their FIRST HOME WRESTLING MATCH on Thursday, 12/18 beginning at 4:30.

• As a reminder – We have a no bag policy in effect which includes all home sporting events. Thank you for your continued dedication in keeping our kids safe. 

• Bus 281 will not be running on Thursday afternoon and Friday Morning or Afternoon.
