Picture Day is Coming - September 23rd will be Fall Picture day at GCMS. These are pictures for our yearbook and ALL students will be taking pictures (unless they do not have permission to publish which means your student will NOT be in the yearbook). Paper copies of the handout will be sent home with students on Monday.
LINKED HERE – This link will allow parents to sign up to receive email updates about their child's school portraits after picture day.
Beginning Monday, 9/15 – Any student who has not paid their $5 required fee for their agenda will not be able to attend extracurricular events, including athletic events and dance/socials.
Notes for Absences – Please remember to send in a doctor’s note or a sick note if your student is out sick. Make sure the note includes the student's full name and homeroom teacher on the letter. We also need the dates the student was absent.
-
Locks & Lockers –Lockers will be in full implementation on Monday, 9/15.
NOTE: We are waiting on additional locks as we are still short quite a few. There will be a few homerooms who will not yet have lockers. We will communicate directly with those homerooms next week.
SWAG Store: LINKED HERE – Order your Granville Central Middle School Swag! The Panther Pack PTO will receive a percentage from the sales. The store will be open each month from the 1st of the month to the 15th of the month. The store will close and orders will take about 4 weeks to be completed from the time the store closes. Orders will be delivered to GCMS and given to the student when they arrive!
FFA Fundraiser – Our FFA is kicking off a fundraiser for their club! They will be selling mums from 9/18-9/25! Checks should be made out to Granville Central Middle School with the memo being “Mum Sale”.
-
Athletics kick off this week with 3 days of home sporting events. We hope to see you all there! Just a reminder that we have a no bag policy for all events and admission is $7.00 CASH ONLY to attend.
If students would like to stay after school to attend, they are allowed to do so. Students will remain in the cafeteria, purchase admission tickets in the cafeteria and then they will report to the sporting event at a designated time.
All students should be picked up within 15 minutes of the game ending. Any student not picked up within that 15 minute window will not be allowed to stay after school for future events.
